John Green
Chief Executive
Membership: Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Founder Member of the Expert Witness Institute
John was educated at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School and Lancaster University where he obtained a degree in Accounting and Finance. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1984.
During the 80’s, John worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers and Pannel Kerr Forster, providing corporate and litigation services.
John joined Pierce in 1993 to specialise in providing business advisory services to clients and litigation support to solicitors. He became a Partner in 1996 and a Director following incorporation in June 2004.
John heads up our specialist forensic accounting department and is a Law Society recognised Expert Witness. He has developed specialist areas of knowledge together with extensive court experience in personal injury, matrimonial, fraud, commercial litigation and professional negligence.
A holder of the "CF" ICAEW Corporate Finance qualification, in 2007 John was the Dealmaker of the year at both the Lancashire Insider Dealmaker Awards and the North West Society of Chartered Accountants business awards. In 2009, he will be the President of the North West Society of Chartered Accountants.
John is married with two children and his interests away from the office centre around cricket, football, and golf.
