Forensic accountancy credentials go from strength to strength.

John Green, head of Pierce Forensic Ltd, and CEO of Pierce Group, has received the brand new Forensic Accountant and Expert Witness Accreditation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. With only around 30 specialists registered with the Accreditation nationwide, John joins an exclusive club and further cements his and Pierce’s position as a true expert in forensic accounting and expert witness work.

John, who is also a Law Society recognised Expert Witness, had to undergo a robust Examination of Experience to gain the Accreditation.

Benefits of the Accreditation:

  • It helps instill confidence that Pierce has the skills clients and intermediaries need, illustrated via the Examination of Experience.
  • It helps to ensure quality of those providing services in the forensic accountancy profession, through the robust Examination of Experience.
  • Pierce has been accredited by an independent body, the ICAEW.
  • Pierce will gain access to a wealth of support, products and services from the Forensic Special Interest Group and ICAEW to help keep them at the forefront of this field.

Speaking of the news, John said:

“It’s a very challenging procedure to go through to gain the Accreditation so we are naturally delighted to have secured it. There is only a small number of practitioners in the UK who have qualified so it’s important for our reputation to be part of this select group. The Institute sets very high standards for the profession and Accreditations such as this can only enhance best practice.”
