Educated at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, Paul joined Pierce as a trainee in 1974.

After qualifying in 1979, he remained with the firm and progressed to Partnership in 1983 and following incorporation in June of 2004, is now the Managing Director.

Paul is a general practitioner with considerable involvement in the preparation of detailed business plans and cash flow forecasts for new and expanding businesses.

Over the years, Paul has developed specialist areas of knowledge in computers and the application of computer systems and software for business.

Paul lives locally and has a keen interest in rural activities and farming. He has a growing interest in equestrian sports.
