The Department of Business Innovation and Skills has confirmed that the mandatory audit thresholds should be aligned with accounting thresholds.

Educated at Clitheroe Royal Grammar School and the University of Salford, Paul qualified as a chartered accountant with a small firm in Preston before moving to Pierce in 1988.
Paul has his own portfolio of clients as well as specialising in advising solicitors practices and company secretarial services. He is also the firm’s technical manager and a member of the audit committee. As a Responsible Individual, Paul is eligible to sign audit reports on behalf of the firm.
Away from the office Paul’s interests include playing and watching football, golf, walking, skiing and music.
