I attended Rhyddings High School in Oswadtwistle then St Mary’s Sixth Form School in Blackburn where I obtained A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry before reading Mathematics at Lancaster University.
Shortly after leaving Lancaster University I joined Pierce’s tax department in October 2000. The areas in which I specialise are personal and corporate tax returns, and tax investigations whilst offering support to the directors in some of our more complex tax planning projects.
I live in Blackburn and my hobbies include music, camping and computers.
Qualifications and professional achievements:
ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians).
How did you end up working for an accountancy practice?
I was always good with numbers and maths. When I saw the advert for the tax department at Pierce I jumped at the opportunity and have never looked back.
I am an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church.
