Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Brief overview of jobrole:

Calculating payrolls accurately including statutory pay to strict deadlines, process documentation for starters, leavers, arrestments etc. Dealing with client’s payroll enquiries over the telephone, updating HMRC, Pension providers and Third Parties with current information.

My Career Journey:

I have worked in payroll and accounts for most of my career, running various sized payrolls, sales and purchase ledgers, credit control and have also spent many years setting up and controlling HR administration systems.

The best things about working for Pierce are:

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and there it is a nice atmosphere to work in. The payroll team is very busy which suits my way of working.

I can’t get through a day at work without: Fruity tea!

If I hadn’t gone into accountancy, I would have been:

Probably doing some type of work with horses, as I’ve loved being around them since being a child.

Outside of work:

I enjoy walking, eating out with friends and travelling; I enjoy experiencing different cultures of the world.
