After completing my degree at Liverpool Hope University, I began working in the accounts department at Pierce. I have since moved to the Tax Department and am currently undertaking my tax exams. My main role is to prepare self assessment tax returns forms for my own portfolio of clients. This also encompasses advice regarding PAYE tax codes, pensions and general personal tax issues. In addition, I complete forms P11D and assist in the payroll department from time to time.
I also belong to the Company Secretarial team, we deal with all aspects of company administration such as initial company formation, appointments and terminations, share allotments, annual return forms and the maintenance of statutory records.

How did you end up working for an accountancy practice?
Following graduation from university I emailed my CV over to Pierce, and was offered an interview.
I hold the level 2 qualification in British Sign Language.
