2014 saw the launch of a Plan for Prosperity – a blueprint for business growth and improved opportunities for the residents of Blackburn with Darwen from now until 2020. 2,700 new jobs, 3,250 new homes and 100,000 square metres of new commercial floorspace – a more prosperous Borough, by skill and hard work.

Make no mistake, greater prosperity has to be built upon sustained economic growth.

How has 2014 been for you as a business in Blackburn with Darwen? What does 2015 hold?

The survey has been designed to help the Council, Hive network and partners better understand the environment which local businesses are working in.
