Once again Pierce Business Advisory, Blackburn, Lancashire is working alongside Queen Elizabeth Grammar School (QEGS), Blackburn linking them with local companies that may be able to offer work experience placements for Year 10 students. The work experience program is running from Monday 27th June to Friday 1st July.
Paul Taylor is the Head of Careers and the school lead for all CEIAG (Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance) for all years 7-13. All Careers initiatives and events are run through the Careers Department including the year 10 work experience program.
Many of the students proceed onto a whole range of courses post 16- such as A-levels, BTECs, T-levels, apprenticeships, and work-based training/employment.
