This morning we welcomed clients and professionals from across the region to the Bolton Stadium Hotel for our Bolton Budget Breakfast Seminar, offering attendees valuable insight into the Chancellor’s latest announcements and how they may impact individuals and businesses in the year ahead.
The event was opened by Pierce Director, Andrew Newton, who welcomed guests and set the scene for a morning of expert-led discussions. Held in the impressive surroundings of the Toughsheet Community Stadium, the seminar brought together business owners, finance teams and advisers for a clear, practical breakdown of the key Budget measures.
Delegates heard from our specialist tax presenters, who explained the latest changes affecting individuals, owner-managed businesses and corporate structures. Topics covered included National Insurance updates, capital allowances, international tax considerations, personal tax planning, property structures, Family Investment Companies, inheritance tax changes, and trusts.
The financial planning session was delivered by Courage and Joseph Warne from Pareto Financial Planning, who provided an overview of the latest pension changes, salary exchange opportunities, ISA allowance updates and key changes affecting investment income.
The event was brought to a close by Andrew, who thanked attendees for joining us and encouraged them to reach out with any questions or follow-up support.
