Role Summary
I am a chartered accountant within the Pierce audit team, I report directly to R.I’s and audit managers on engagements. I act as the lead when onsite and am the primary point of contact for clients throughout the audit process, while assisting and providing training opportunities for trainees within our team.
Career Background
I joined Pierce after sitting A levels in 2021 at Runshaw College, initially working within the accounts team to gain experience in basic double entry and financial accounts preparation. I then moved to a full-time audit role in 2023 and have gained valuable experience since then working with a wide variety of clients across different sectors. I became ACA qualified in August 2025 after completing the qualification over 4 years.
Hobbies
I hold a season ticket for Blackburn Rovers, so go to watch them whenever I can. I also enjoy hiking, going to the gym and travelling.
Bucket List
To have travelled across 6 of the 7 continents (Antarctica can be missed out!)
Favourite place
The gym – lets me unwind after a day at work and keeps me active.
Favourite food
Love an Indian curry – Rogan Josh or Jalfrezi is a go-to.
Favourite movie
One of my favourite films is definitely Hot Fuzz, never fails to make me laugh.
