Tax Director helping Owner Managed Businesses solve a broad range of tax issues with particular specialisms including handling HMRC, dispute resolution, share schemes, VAT, IHT and capital gains tax planning.
Career Background
Stephen became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 2013 after passing all four written exams at the same sitting. He spent 8 and a half years at Azets, formerly Cassons, where he became a Partner in 2020 before moving to UHY Hacker Young in Manchester in April 2024. His move to Pierce is a move back to servicing the East Lancashire OMB market.
Hobbies
Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family, walking with his Working Cocker Spaniel, “Lenny”, playing padel and watching football.
