Edward Taylor Textiles are based in Lancashire and have over 25 years of experience within the textile industry. 

As a direct result of the pandemic, they experienced a significant decline in orders coming into the factory during the national lockdown. 

Sadly, this meant they were regrettably forced to make a decision to cease all operations on Friday 27th March 2020 and for the ongoing duration of the national lockdown. 

It was important for them to retain their highly skilled and time served personnel wherever possible, whilst reducing the loss of revenue.

How we’ve helped

At Pierce we were able to offer a solution through utilising the Job Retention Scheme, providing a service to administer and process the claims for the business.

The Job Retention Scheme played a vital role in preventing possible redundancies, allowing for the business to keep overheads to a minimum and improve cash flow during a time of reduced revenue.
