Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Brief overview of job role: My role involves processing payrolls, completing CIS returns and the administration of auto enrolment.

My career journey:

I started at Pierce in December 2013 as a payroll apprentice through North Lancs Training Group. Since then I have gained multiple qualifications including my NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration and Payroll technician certificate from the CIPP. I am currently working towards my foundation degree in Payroll Management.

The best thing about working for Pierce are: The social gatherings.

I can't get through a day at work without... Our customary game of cards at lunch.

If I hadn’t gone into accountancy, I would have been:

Probably still cleaning up popcorn at the local cinema.

Outside of work…

My two biggest hobbies are football and music. I regularly attend gigs and spend most of my summer at festivals.
