How did you end up working for an accountancy practice?
Honest answer – My answers to a questionnaire were entered into a computer at Preston Polytechnic which decided I was suitable for a career as a cameraman for the BBC! However there was a job going at a firm of accountants up the road – fancy it? Interviewed the following day, job offered two days later. Never looked back.
My Great Great Grandfather, from Italy, opened the first fish and chip shop in Accrington. No, I don’t believe it either.
