Pierce has announced the appointment of Aaron Pegg as Forensic Director, further enhancing the firm’s established forensic accounting and valuation offering.

Aaron is an ACA Chartered Accountant and holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge. He brings many years of experience specialising in forensic accounting, business valuations and complex financial disputes, advising clients across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
Aaron’s experience spans commercial disputes, including shareholder disputes, loss of profit and business interruption claims, breaches of contract, share purchase agreement disputes, agency terminations, expert determinations, accounting irregularities and professional negligence claims. He also has extensive experience in matrimonial business valuations, alongside civil and criminal investigations into allegations of bribery and corruption, fraud, money laundering and accounting irregularities.
In addition, Aaron regularly undertakes non-contentious business valuations for tax, financial reporting, succession planning, investment appraisal, corporate restructuring, management buyouts and probate purposes.
Prior to joining Pierce, Aaron held senior forensic roles at both boutique and top-tier accounting firms, most recently as Director, Forensic Accounting & Valuations at Azets, a top 10 UK firm. He previously spent several years at Dow Schofield Watts, a specialist forensic boutique, and earlier in his career worked within BDO’s Forensic Services team, including a one-year secondment to the UK Serious Fraud Office in London.
Commenting on his appointment, Aaron Pegg said:
“I am delighted to be joining Pierce at an exciting stage in the firm’s growth. Pierce has built a strong reputation for high-quality advisory work and a collaborative, client-focused culture. I am looking forward to working with the team to further develop the forensic offering and to support clients through complex disputes, investigations and valuation matters.”
Jimmy King, CEO of Pierce, added:
“Aaron’s appointment is an excellent addition to our senior leadership team. His technical expertise, breadth of forensic experience and background across both boutique and top-tier firms complement our already strong forensic capability. As demand for forensic and dispute-related services continues to grow, Aaron will play a key role in supporting clients and strengthening our offering further.”
Outside of work, Aaron is a busy father of three, an active member of his local church, and a regular gym-goer, with the occasional dads’ football match. A lifelong Arsenal supporter, he is quick to note that he has nothing against Blackburn Rovers. Among his more memorable experiences, Aaron once played alongside Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup winner Jonny Evans, and has also had the pleasure of dining with football legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
Pierce looks forward to welcoming Aaron to the firm and to the leadership and expertise he brings to its forensic team.
